Gary Crompton, Sachems FC’s Director of Coaching, comes to Sachems following 10+ years with the Greater Boston Bolts club. Gary holds an USSF A license, USSF Pro B license, and an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Gary is the Head Men’s Coach at Bentley University, and former Assistant Coach at Harvard University.
We are proud of our experienced and well-respected Sachems FC professional coaching staff. Not only do they coach Sachems FC teams, they are involved in other elite organizations across the state. Several Sachems FC coaches are involved in the Massachusetts Olympic Development Program (ODP). Many of our coaches also participate in the District Select Program. This gives Sachems FC players access and exposure to the greater soccer community.
Many of our accomplished Sachems FC coaching staff hold top coaching credentials such as: 2 coaches hold USSF "A" (United States Soccer Federation) licenses, 2 hold "B" licenses and 3 hold "C" licenses. Additionally, 8 of our coaches hold NSCCA (Nat'l Soccer Coaches of America Association) Advanced Licenses.
In addition to that, we have 4 current area College Coaches, 7 current area High School Coaches in soccer programs on both the boys and girls side. This involvement provides a smooth transition from club soccer to the high school environment for both Winchester and non-Winchester players.
In addition, current and former New England Revolution players, such as Matt Reis and Shalrie Joseph, joined the staff for this year’s winter training with Sachems FC, and we expect to continue bringing in both current & former professional players to assist with the program both in-season and between seasons. We have goalkeeper specific training under the direction of Coach Tim Fauth, assistant coach at Providence College. You’re making a major investment to enable your child to play club soccer; you should expect the coaches to be highly qualified and professional.
