On October 21, 2007 the Sachems FC Academy traveled to Northeastern University for a day of fun and soccer.
To kick the game off, the Academy players greeted all of the Northeastern University players at midfield and wished them
well.
All of the Academy players received popsicles and skills balls autographed by all of the Northeastern players.
The Northeastern players were so inspired by the Academy players that Northeastern went on to upset the highly ranked
James Madison team with a final score of 1-0.
Sachems FC Academy will be invited back next season!

Here are some quotes from our Academy parents:
"It was really inspirational for the kids to see the Huskies play AND win! It was an honor to be allowed to stand
on the field, get a high five from the players and the signed balls. Thank
you for a great day!"
"We had a wonderful time and the game on Sunday! We are very impressed!!
Go HUSKIES!"
"What a smashing success. The players were very motivational. Our daughter
LOVES the autographed skills ball!"
